This week, we explored the landmark "Sugar Hill" (or Blueberry Hill) case. In the early 1940s, white residents of the West Adams district sought to kick out black residents (Hattie McDaniel, Louise Beavers, Drs. John and Vada Somerville, etc.) who'd made the neighborhood their home for nearly a decade.
